The Power of Us

With the very first home LCEC energized in 1940, the LCEC corporate values have included supporting the communities we serve. From the volunteer work our employees perform to the vital funds that are put back into the economy and local programs to sustain our neighborhoods, our commitment to the people of Southwest Florida is an important part of who we are. We know that together we can do more good. The LCEC Power of Us Program is aimed at providing employees with the opportunity for one paid volunteer day annually to share their time and talent for those in need. You can find LCEC employees planting trees, cleaning at an animal shelter or assisted living facility, packing and distributing food to the hungry, or picking up trash along local roadways or beaches. Bringing together a team of dedicated, passionate problem-solvers and workers to improve the communities we serve is an important investment and our way of energizing the community with electricity and much, much more.
