March 12, 2020 - At LCEC, our employees and our customers are our number one priority and we are taking the responsibility of protecting them with the utmost importance.
We are laser-focused on updates provided by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO) and are following all recommendations that are made from these trusted sources. Our Emergency Response Team is working together to follow protocol set forth in the LCEC Infectious Disease Emergency Response Plan. Some of the proactive steps taken so far to protect our employees and customers include:
• Extra hand sanitizer and cleaning supplies throughout the work environment.
• Thorough disinfecting of work spaces on a daily basis, especially high-touch areas.
• Daily information provided to employees and as needed.
• Employees are preparing to work remotely if necessary, where applicable and feasible.
• All business travel and training has been cancelled.
• Constant reminders to thoroughly wash hands, avoid touching face, mouth and nose.
• Social distancing is encouraged.
We are extremely hopeful that everyone is doing their part to stay updated on the Coronavirus while paying special attention to personal hygiene to protect themselves and others.
