Compliance
Federal, state and local regulations and standards are in place to ensure that electric utilities around the nation have the right practices in place to maintain reliability and manage operations effectively for their customers. In order to meet all regulatory requirements, LCEC has an ongoing plan in place to remain informed, monitor progress and make certain that standards are met or exceeded.
The LCEC Bulk Electric Facility Connection Requirements document provides procedural guidelines and technical requirements for connecting to the LCEC transmission system. Revisions to the document are made periodically and it is published with the Florida Reliability Coordinating Council.
Information contained in the document is a guideline and not intended as a detailed specification.
