Please note that LCEC uses an independent credit reporting agency, Experian, to conduct a soft credit inquiry to verify member identity and determine whether a deposit is required. Please make sure your Experian account is unfrozen before proceeding.

Additionally, please note that you are required to verify the current/previous owner at the service location, or the meter number at the property. Please have this information available to enter on the Start Service page to ensure your order is processed as quickly as possible.

If the power is disconnected, the main breaker must be in the off position before power can be reconnected.

Start Service Fees:

A $30 start-service fee will be charged to connect or transfer service. For additional information about fees and charges, click here.

Deposit:
